2. League clashes between Zagłębie and “GieKSą” have always had their own drama and color, and let’s hope that this will not change. The statistics are close to a draw. Zagłębie won 15 times, their opponents 15. We also recorded 11 draws. Only the goals clearly favor the Katowice team (45:40).
3. It could have been so beautiful! On August 22, 2021, a dramatic match was played between the Sosnowiec team and “GieKSą”. We were leading 2-0 until the break, dominating at Bukowa. But after the break, a real football earthquake occurred and the rivals scored 3 goals, ultimately winning 3:2. This match will be a dream for our fans and players for a long time. Let us remind you that 2 days later, after this painful defeat, Marcin Jaroszewski resigned as the president of Zagłębie. In total, he served for 98 months and 11 days.
