Zagora – Air passenger traffic at Zagora airport recorded an increase of 180.75 pc in 2021, compared to the year 2020.
Thus, a total of 9,453 travelers passed through Zagora airport during the past year, compared to 3,367 passengers in 2020, according to statistical data from the National Airports Office (ONDA).
Compared to 2019 (17,156 passengers), Zagora airport recorded a 44.9 pc drop in passenger traffic.
The same source indicates that Zagora airport occupied, in 2021, the 17th place at the national level in terms of passenger traffic.
At the national level, overall commercial air passenger traffic recorded an increase of around 38.9 pc last year compared to 2020.
The Kingdom’s airports recorded commercial air traffic of over 9.9 million passengers in 2021.
