However, Maria Zakharova officially criticized the US position, replying to the acting deputy foreign minister, Victoria Nuland, that if the White House had information about a terrorist attack in Russia, then it should have notified the Kremlin.
The mayor of Moscow, Sergey Sobyanin, announced that the city is in lockdown and the cancellation of all sports, cultural and other public events for the entire weekend.
Historically, it is also one of the largest terrorist attacks in Russia. Some early unconfirmed reports from Russian media speak of Muslim separatists from Ingushetia, a republic in Russia’s Southern District that borders Georgia to the south. The information speaks, meanwhile, of over 200 trapped inside the building, at the time when at least 70 ambulances rushed to the scene.
