Zelensky’s first comment on Saudi Arabia’s offer of $400 million to Ukraine Al-Marsad Newspaper

Al-Marsad newspaper: Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that his country’s relations with Saudi Arabia are at their best level in 30 years.

“Over the past week, it is worth noting the strengthening of contacts with Saudi Arabia,” Zelensky added, in a letter to the Ukrainians, according to CNN.

He noted, “There are important agreements. Among other things, the decision of the (Saudi) partners to provide a humanitarian support package of $400 million. It is very important,” noting that “at the moment, we have more meaningful relations with Saudi Arabia than any other It was 30 years ago.”

Zelensky’s comments came “following Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman pledged $400 million in humanitarian aid to Ukraine, last Friday.”
