Klaus, artist, creator, narrator and friend of the ZENITH brand, presented a soundtrack which incorporates sounds recorded during his visit to the ZENITH factory in Le Locle

An electronic music producer and DJ who shares his adventures, emotions and encounters on his popular YouTube channel, Klaus is an internationally renowned Italian multimedia artist and narrator. Accustomed to sharing his stories in unexpected ways and taking his audience on sensory journeys, Klaus sought to take listeners on a unique musical adventure through the ZENITH Manufacture. Inspired by the unusual sights and sounds encountered inside, he made various recordings to incorporate into a special soundtrack, created exclusively for ZENITH.

Before the broadcast of this truly unique creation, the guests from Milan were able to live an exclusive experience with a meeting with Klaus during the cocktail, a preview of the soundtrack and a ZENITH Watch Clinic workshop, the latter of which allowed them to put yourself in the shoes of a watchmaker and learn how luminescent pigments are carefully applied to the revisited Pilot collection.

Unveiled earlier in the year, the new Pilot collection became Klaus’ favorite since its launch. The latest in a long line of ZENITH Pilot watches, the new model abandons vintage aesthetics for a style inspired by the entire history of aviation – past and present. The Pilot Big Date Flyback in black ceramic adopts a utilitarian look and integrates two functions into the El Primero 5 Hz automatic chronograph caliber: the big date and the flyback. For a creative globetrotter like Klaus, it’s an ideal choice.

About the soundtrack, Klaus said: “I went to Le Locle for the first time in March this year and what impressed me the most was the heritage preserved by Charles Vermot in a secret attic . The initial idea was to create a soundtrack of the visit, but once there, I was overflowing with ideas on how to translate what I saw into music. The “Le Locle” soundtrack represents the impression that the Le Locle factory gave me: a peaceful and quiet space, wonderfully distorted by clever industrial machines. »

The first soundtrack from Klaus’ new project, simply titled “Le Locle”, will be released on Spotify, Apple Music and other streaming platforms around the world on Friday, October 20.

Other works produced by Klaus for ZENITH will be revealed in the coming months.
