The image of competitive alpine skiing and the FIS (International Ski Federation) is a little more tainted, after the controversies of the excavators on the glacier or the competition calendar which is debated, because it is no longer really adequate in relation to change climatic.
The organizers of Zermatt-Cervinia have signed a contract with the FIS which lasts for another 3 years. The two stations, Swiss and Italian, will therefore try their luck again next year despite the 8 races already canceled (4 this year and 4 last year).
