Zero Connect technology for a TV … without wires!

Despite a series of announcements earlier in the week that covered the LG A3, B3, C3, G3 and Z3 ranges, LG still had one benchmark to pull out of its hat with the LG OLED M3.

This brand new range, whose presentation and launch have been postponed for two years due to the health crisis, will have three references with the LG OLED77M3, LG OLED83M3 and LG OLED97M3. At present, only the last reference has been formalized and briefly presented during the Korean manufacturer’s press conference which took place this followingnoon.

The M3 series will be similar to the G3 series already unveiled, except that it will transmit audio and video signals through a process that does not require connecting any cables to the TV. Like Samsung, LG will offer a box to deport all these connectors, only this box will ensure wireless transmission thanks to a technology that the manufacturer calls Zero Connect. If we are to believe the visuals provided by LG, the case is relatively thick. This would, however, use an algorithm allowing the signals to take the best possible path in order to ensure a smooth and seamless transmission.
