1. FC Saarbrücken has set a new third division record.
FCS also kept a clean sheet in the fifth game of the season – but against Aue, which had been relegated to the second division, it was only enough for a 0-0 draw.

FCS coach Uwe Koschinat (50) left captain Manuel Zeitz, full-back Tobias Schwede and striker Sebastian Jacob on the bench, but brought Kasim Rabihic, Julian Günther-Schmidt and Richard Neudecker in contrast to the 0-0 draw in Ingolstadt.
The hosts also send the first signal in front of 9458 spectators, but Neudecker’s shot is no problem for Aue-Keeper Klewin (4th).
Then great excitement! After Günther-Schmidt’s shot on the turn, Sorge clearly defends the ball with his hand, but the generally weak referee Braun does not give the justified penalty (16th).
However, the visitors have the greatest chances of the first half: Batz saves with a superb foot defense against Jastremski, who appeared alone in front of him (35′), then he scratches a fine free kick from Stefaniak out of the left corner (45′). phew!

Not much creativity in round 2 either. And almost no chances on the Saarbrücken side. Substitute Jacob has the best shot, but his 20-yard shot goes over the bar (77′).
Unlike the guests, who press dangerously again and again. After a mistake by Becker, Besong slams just a few millimeters wide to the right (74′). More aggressive and thoughtful. Nazarov could have secured the win, but his shot just missed the left (87′).
And so FCS has the record – but they mostly owe it to keeper Daniel Batz against Aue…
