“It was an ordinary morning, we had breakfast, the mood was the best, the sun was shining – that’s all, let’s rest girls. We disconnected our phones and went to the beach. We went to wash our hands, I look in the mirror and I feel so weak and my chest was very, very tight and that’s it, I don’t remember anymore,” the politician told the journalists of the “KK2” program.
Ž. Pinskuvienė lost consciousness and said she had no idea how long she had been lying down after passing out.
“I heard the words – ‘let’s go faster, probably a stroke, dying.’ And when I was lying on the ground, someone grabbed my back and woke me up,” she said.
The politician said that she did not understand what had happened, but she was unable to stand up herself.
“I feel like I can’t move my mouth. And I lean back a little, and I see blood clans. I can’t touch here somewhere, and I can’t get up. I realized that I needed help. People don’t come to that room on purpose, and I naturally do, but that’s how it is, I started crawling,” the woman shared her horrifying experiences.
Ž. Pinskuvienė crawled out of the toilet covered in blood, and a passing man and his daughter rushed to her aid.
“Of course he was screaming – ‘call for help, call for help’ – in all languages. I didn’t understand at all, but he was rubbing my chest and his girl was rubbing my soles. Like they said, she’s dying, no pressure, no pressure. But there, in the fast way, people put bacon in the meadow for me,” she said.
The politician was rushed to the hospital. Mother Maria went through a lot because of her daughter.
“It was very disturbing, because the place is like that, and you don’t know how it will be received there,” Ž. Pinskuvienė’s mother, Marija, recalled the incident to the “KK2” program.
The doctors stitched up Ž. Pinskuviene’s wound, plastered her jaw, but soon released her.
“I’m sent, repaired, why am I going to lie there, cry. Well, I won’t lie down and cry. So the beach, the sun is shining, mother, friend has arrived. I can’t spoil his vacation,” she said.
The politician did not inform her husband Jonas Pinskas about the accident that happened on vacation, because she did not want him to worry.
“I was afraid to show my husband. My husband didn’t know, I only told my daughter: “daughter, when I fly home, you will tell dad and he will let off a little steam before I fly back and everything will be fine.” I know Jon and his attitude towards me – he would have found a ticket and flown there on the same day,” she said.
Ž. Pinksuvienė will be able to eat only pureed food for a long time, because her jaw is broken and it will take a long time to heal. His daughter takes care of the meals he can eat.
