ORS New Aquitaine
To answer to the health needs of Neo-Aquitaine residentsthe regional policy carried by the ARS Nouvelle-Aquitaine must be able to rely on reliable health indicators that can be applied at local level. The main objective of the Regional Health Observatories (ORS) is to observe and document the state of health of populations at the regional and sub-regional scale, as part of a mission to support the decision-making of public actors. .
Funded by the ARS Nouvelle-Aquitaine which thus benefits from its expertise, the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Regional Health Observatory (ORS) was responsible for setting up a periodic survey of the regional population, its exploitation and its valorization.
The 2021 Zoom Santé Nouvelle-Aquitaine survey
Carried out between May 7 and June 30, 2021, the second edition of the Zoom Santé survey was carried out during a period of confinement with 5,400 adults residing in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, aged 18 and over. The people drawn at random form a faithful sample of the typology of the regional population.
The objective of the survey is to better understand perceived state of health of the neo-Aquitaine population based on indicators not taken into account in other surveys or by other surveillance systems. Some of these indicators were used to develop the regional health project (PRS) of the ARS Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
This second edition follows the first edition conducted in 2018. The results highlight the changes in behavior or perceptions over a period of three years, in a health context that has profoundly changed during this period.
Regional and departmental results of the Zoom health survey
Available indicators
Each “Zoom health” publication lists several indicators allowing us to illuminate “the perceived state of health” of the inhabitants of Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
These indicators are classified by themes : perception of one’s state of health, addictive behavior (tobacco, electronic cigarette, alcohol), discomfort and suicidal behavior, opinions regarding vaccination, nutrition, physical activity and health work.
The level of evolution of each indicator is reported in relation to 2018. A summary in the form of “ Highlights ” is available on the first page. Each of the indicators of the departmental file are also evaluated in relation to regional data and the regional sheet contains a variation per department for each indicator.
