O Zoom announced this week a feature called Grades (Notes) which will make it possible to simultaneously create, share and edit text files — even during calls.
Notes will appear next to a video call — where the Zoom chat normally resides. People on the call will be able to jump in to make edits while the meeting is taking place, making it easier to keep paying attention to the conversation than if they had to switch to another screen.
In addition, it will also be possible to edit the Notes before and after the meetings so that everyone can follow the changes. In this sense, the creators of Notes will be able to grant access to other participants only during a meeting or extend it.
According to Zoom, the feature will roll out “in the coming weeks” and will be available to all users at no additional cost.
