Zsolt Hernádi said when he thinks gasoline will be cheap in Hungary

According to the manager

in about fifteen years, gasoline will actually be cheap in Hungary,

the demand may decrease by now – and this requires the technological revolution, i.e for electrification. However, according to Hernádi, this will not happen overnight:

I believe in a smart transition much more than a forced, campaign-like change that promises immediate results

– he stated, adding that this requires a suitable political attitude and rationality (there must be marketable technological solutions).

Regarding the EU directive that From 2035, it will not be possible to sell new cars with a conventional driveHernádi singled out Toyota as an example to be followed: he reminded that the Japanese company “diesel is not dead” in the hybrid engine production program, where the diesel engine is combined with the electric one. The market responded positively to this, for example, in Australia, the hybrid version of the doomed Hilux with a diesel engine is already on the rise, Hernádi points out.

This only reinforces the trend that the revolution of hybrids has come, they are taking the place of conventionally driven cars.

– highlights the leader. So he believes that the greening of traffic will also be temporaryand traditional engines will definitely be with us until 2050.

At the end of his article, he highlights the need to support European industry:

together with industry, solutions must be devised to keep European industry alive, reduce emissions and produce products that consumers also want.

According to Hernádi, the green transition will only happen if this balance is maintained.
