A healthcare professional has been convicted of sexual harassment in the canton of Zug. He had visited in his room a woman he had met on Tinder and who was then in the hospital. They talked for a while, then he approached the bed, lifted the sheets and touched the woman’s private parts, as reported by the zentralplus.ch site. She then filed a complaint against him.
The man was ordered to pay a fine of 300 francs and 250 francs in procedural costs. The judgment is final, but it could have professional consequences. Indeed, sexual harassment is systematically penalized at the Cantonal Hospital of Zug. In the event of a final conviction for sexual harassment at work, the employment contract is terminated, communication manager Sonja Metzger told the online media.
