Zurich: German Porsche racer builds an accident and is arrested

A 33-year-old German lost control of his car on Thursday evening. According to the information available to date from the Zurich City Police, the Porsche driver drove into the city on Brandschenkestrasse in Zurich District 2 shortly following 8.30 p.m. At the Brandschenkestrasse/Selnaustrasse/Stockerstrasse junction, he turned right into Stockerstrasse.

According to the police, shortly followingwards he lost control of his powerful vehicle, threw himself onto the pavement and collided with a signal board there before the vehicle came to a standstill once more on the road.

The accident caused damage to property amounting to several tens of thousands of francs, nobody was injured. The driver of the vehicle was arrested on suspicion of a speeding offense.
