Thrissur: Youths clash at Kunnamkulam petrol pump. Anas (19), a native of Palunnana, was stabbed. Pradeep, a native of Cherukunnu, was taken into police custody. Pradeep told police that the provocation at the time was also done during the clash.
The incident took place on Sunday followingnoon. The clash erupted over a misalignment at a petrol pump. The dispute between the two bikers escalated into a brawl and later a stabbing. Anas was admitted to the Taluk Hospital.
According to hospital officials, the injuries were not serious. Despite minor disputes in the area, locals say the stabbing is the first of its kind.
