ΕΤΥ requests an extension of the pilot application in industry and retail trade – 2024-04-02 20:28:34

The Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EBETH) sent a letter to the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Domnas Michailidou, requesting an extension of the pilot application of the digital work card.

In particular, the EBET requests that the extension be equivalent to the period of time that has already been decided for the new ERGANI II IT system.

The above extension is considered imperative, in order to grant the businesses the necessary time to be informed about the new Information System of ERGANIS II and to then proceed with the required actions for the overall use of its applications, as stated in the letter of ΕΒΘΥ, on which is signed by the first vice-president of the organization, Emmanuel Vlachogiannis.

The digital job card

According to iefimerida, it is recalled that the trial period of ERGANI II applications will start on 1/5 and the full operational application on 1/6, while based on what is in effect today, the application of the digital job card, as well as the final date of full application is 1/4 for industry and 2/5 for retail.

“This means that it will not be possible to use the accounting system for registering overtime and changes in the hours of employees by companies before the start of the trial period of the TOOL II applications”, underlines the EBET in its letter.
