With President-elect Yoon Seok-yeol announcing the announcement of the transition chairperson tomorrow, he entered into last-minute coordination with Ahn Cheol-soo, chairman of the People’s Party.
From next week, President-elect Yoon will go to work in Tongui-dong’s office and start taking over the government in earnest.

The appointment of the new government’s transition committee chairperson and vice chairperson will be announced tomorrow afternoon.
Jang Je-won, the elected chief of staff, said that he would make final arrangements with Ahn Cheol-soo, leader of the People’s Party, during the day.

“If CEO Ahn Cheol-soo decides to take over, there will be some other configurations depending on that, and if he doesn’t, wouldn’t it be a different configuration. There are parts that are linked.”
It is said that the two sides have a different position on the authority of the transition chairperson, although they are waiting for whether to accept the appointment of CEO Ahn in effect.
It is known that Yoon-elect’s side is preparing other appointment cards such as Kim Byung-jun and Kim Han-gil.
President-elect Yoon will start taking over the government from next Monday at the Financial Supervisory Service training center in Tongui-dong, Seoul.
From today, the office supplies of the elected office have been filled at the Training Center in Tongui-dong, and the composition of the working-level staff in the secretariat is being finalized.
President-elect Yoon announced that he would add a regional balanced development task force to the transition committee.

“As soon as cooperation from 17 municipalities across the country is sought (by dispatch), we plan to collect opinions on balanced development and reflect them in the new government.”
In addition, the Office of the President will be relocated to the Gwanghwamun Government Complex in Seoul, but the underground bunker inside the Blue House, that is, the ‘National Crisis Management Center’, will be used as it is.
In response to the fact that the Gwanghwamun office and the crisis management center are separated, spokesperson Kim Eun-hye answered that the crisis response had been checked.
Regarding North Korea’s move to launch a new ICBM, he repeatedly said, “It is not natural to comment on the status of the elected candidate whenever a situation arises.” It is the position of the elected candidate,” he added.
