The results of a public opinion poll on the 26th showed that the positive evaluation of President Yoon Seok-yeol’s performance in state affairs fell slightly compared to the previous week.

As a result of a Gallup Korea survey of 11 men and women over the age of 18 nationwide from the 23rd to the 25th, 27% of the respondents answered that President Yoon was doing well, and 64% said that he was doing it wrong. done.

Compared to last week’s (16th to 18th) survey, the positive evaluation decreased by 1 percentage point, and the negative evaluation remained at the same level.

In a Gallup poll, the positive evaluation of President Yoon’s performance has been below the 30% level for the fifth week, and the negative evaluation has exceeded 60% during the same period.

The positive evaluation, which had been going downhill since last June, reached a low of 24% in the survey three weeks ago (August 2-4), then 25% in the survey two weeks ago (August 9-11), and 28% last week. It showed a slight upward trend, but fell by 1 percentage point again this week.

In the conservative group, positive and negative evaluations were at the same level, 44% and 48%, respectively, and in their 60s, positive and negative ratings were tied at 47%.

By region, the positive evaluation did not exceed 30% in other regions except for three regions: Daegu/Gyeongbuk (39%), Busan/Ulsan/Gyeongnam (34%), and Daejeon/Sejong/Chungcheong (31%).

Gwangju and Jeolla Province were the lowest at 9%.

Negative evaluation was highest in Gwangju and Jeolla (81%), and exceeded the average (64%) in Incheon and Gyeonggi (69%) and Daejeon, Sejong, and Chungcheong (67%).

By generation, the positive evaluation of those in their 70s or older (54%) and those in their 60s (47%) exceeded the average (27%), while those in their 50s (20%) hovered below the level.
