Ssangyong Group is pushing for the acquisition of Ssangyong Motors, which recently failed to merge with Edison Motors.
An official of SsangBallung Group said that they are actively reviewing the takeover of Ssangyong Motor, centering on Kwanglim, the group’s special vehicle manufacturer, and that they have communicated their intention to take over to the lead manager of the sale.
After the news of Edison Motors’ failure to acquire Ssangyong Motors, the Ssangbool Group formed a dedicated team to take over.
It is known that SsangBall Group is planning to take over by forming a consortium with other listed affiliates in the group, centered on Kwanglim.
