[단독] Suspicion of Jeong Soon-shin’s son’s ‘belated transfer’

The Ministry of Education has launched an investigation against the National Academy of Education regarding the alleged delay in the transfer of the son of Lawyer Jeong Soon-shin.

Today (14th), the Ministry of Education conducted an on-site investigation by officials from the department related to school violence.

An official from the Ministry of Education said, “We are going to conduct an on-site inspection on the issues raised during the National Assembly’s pending inquiry on the 9th.”

In addition, we plan to review the minutes of the relevant meeting at the time against the Gangwon-do Office of Education and check whether there were any problems in the course of action.

Attorney Jeong’s son transferred to Banpo High School in Seoul in 2019 after being transferred to school violence while attending a civil accident.

On the 9th, at the National Assembly’s pending inquiry, it was pointed out that the transfer was delayed for a long time, causing secondary harm to the victim.

Regarding this, the civil accident agency repeatedly explained on the 10th that ″(Disposition of transfer) was in a situation where the suspension of execution was cited and only the result of the first trial of the administrative lawsuit was received, and the transfer measure could not be implemented and there was no choice but to wait for the result.″

On the other hand, Gangwon-do, which confirmed the transfer of the son of lawyer Jeong at the school violence committee at the time, responded to the Ministry of Education’s request for fact-finding, “Notifying the school of not only the first trial, but also the progress and results of related lawsuits such as administrative lawsuits and administrative judgments through official documents or by phone. Yesterday (13th), he officially replied.

Regarding this, the Civil Accident said, “As a result of checking with those involved, such as the teacher in charge of the school violence at the time, it was confirmed that ‘it was a matter of careful observation, but I do not remember receiving a wire notice’.”
