Actress Shim Eun-ha has filed a complaint with the police for defamation against the production company and CEO who reported false facts about her appearance contract to the media, and the reporter who first reported it.
Shim Eun-ha’s spouse, Ji-wook Ji, a former member of the National Assembly, filed a complaint with the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency against the production company By4M Studio and the company’s representative for defamation.
In addition, a newspaper reporter who wrote an article for the first time after receiving a tip from BypoM and not confirming the facts with Shim Eun-ha was accused of the same charge.
In the complaint, Jee said that Shim Eun-ha had not signed an appearance contract with BypoM last year or this year, and had not even had a single phone call or meeting with them. In fact, he said no more.
In addition, Shim Eun-ha claimed that she had never delegated or commissioned any person to act on behalf of her appearance contract, and therefore judged their actions to be malicious and illegal.
Previously, By4M paid a down payment of 1.5 billion won to Mr. A, who announced through the media that he was acting for Eun-ha Shim, but expressed his apology to Eun-ha Shim and her family, saying that it belatedly confirmed that it was not delivered to Eun-ha Shim.
It is said that Shim Eun-ha’s side said, “I have no intention of accepting an apology, and I plan to go to the end.”
