The marriage of actors Ma Dong-seok and Yeo Jung-hwa was announced late.
Ma Dong-seok won the Film Artist Award at the 12th Beautiful Artist Awards ceremony held at Stage 28 in Godeok-dong, Seoul on the 20th.
Ma Dong-seok, who came on stage, said in his acceptance speech, “I am grateful to my colleagues in ‘Crime City 2’, as well as my beloved wife Jeong-hwa Jeong and his family.”
In particular, he drew attention when he made a surprise announcement about the marriage by referring to Jung Hwa as ‘wife’.
The agency Big Punch Entertainment also said, “Ma Dong-seok and Ye Jung-hwa completed their marriage registration last year. Due to the busy schedule, the wedding will be held at a later date.”
Ma Dong-seok and Yeo Jeong-hwa have been dating since November 2016, and have been receiving attention as representatives of the entertainment industry as a ‘longevity couple’ by eating together at the same agency.
