A construction company was caught dumping wastewater from a construction site in a nearby creek in Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do.
Heavy metals such as lead and arsenic were detected in the wastewater discharged into the creek, and it was found that it had flowed to the Paldang Waterworks Protection Area.

This polluted water flowed through the nearby Sinwolcheon and Gyeongancheon Streams to the Paldang Water Source Protection Area.

If groundwater flows in during excavation and muddy water is produced, it is necessary to filter out pollutants such as heavy metals sufficiently or to entrust the treatment with a treatment company, but the construction company did not take any action.
Because of this, he received administrative guidance from the local government four times, but it was investigated that all of them were completely ignored.
