Actress Kim Sae-ron was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving.
The Gangnam Police Station in Seoul charged Kim with drunk driving yesterday (18th).
Kim is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol in the Cheongdam-dong area of Seoul at around 8 am yesterday morning and collided with a transformer, a guardrail, and a street tree.
As a result of this accident, the transformer was damaged and electricity was temporarily cut off in four neighboring buildings and street lights, and restoration work is in progress.
At the time, it was reported that there was one other passenger in the vehicle besides Kim.
Before the police were dispatched, in the Cheongdam-dong area, reports of vehicles driving while staggering were received about seven times.
The police plan to investigate the exact circumstances of the accident by looking at the test results as much as Kim wants blood drawn instead of measuring his blood alcohol level at the scene.
