Gangnam-gu, Seoul, has decided to expand childbirth and childcare subsidies from next year.
Previously, 300,000 won for the first child and 1 million won for the second child were paid, but this will be increased to 2 million won from January 1 next year.
Accordingly, from next year, the government will receive a total of 4 million won, including the ‘First Meeting Yongwon’, which is paid in the form of a coupon of 2 times the amount to all babies born.
This is the largest amount among the Seoul autonomous districts.
