10 Delicious cold desserts for coffee lovers

Easy, fast and cheap, it is ideal for those who love a fusion of flavors that is not too intense.

Ingredients:

  • 80g of flour
  • 100g sugar
  • 50g of butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup of sweetened coffeeFor the cream:
  • 5 yolks
  • 150g sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of flour
  • 80g of milk
  • 2 small glasses of Marsala wine
  • 2 and a half sheets of gelatin
  • 500 g of mascarpone

To decorate:

Preparation:

Level 1 Melt the butter in a bain-marie; use part of it to brush a sheet of parchment paper placed inside a 30×40 cm tray.

Step 2In a bowl, mix the egg yolks with the sugar: beat them until they turn white. Add the sifted flour, the remaining butter and the cold coffee. Work well.

Step 3 Beat the egg whites until firm and add them to the previously prepared mixture.

Step 4 Pour the mixture into the mold and bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for about 15 minutes.

Step 5When the cake is cooked, remove it from the oven and turn it over onto a damp cloth; Remove the parchment paper and roll the dough (gently!) with the cloth. When it’s at room temperature, unroll.

Step 6For the cream: beat the yolks with the sugar until a foamy mixture is obtained; add the flour, milk and marsala.

Step 7Pour everything into the saucepan and cook over low heat. Meanwhile, in a bowl of cold water, soak the gelatin.

Step 8Once the cream is ready, while it is still hot but with the heat off, put the well-squeezed gelatin inside it and continue stirring until it reaches a more or less room temperature.

Step 9 Now add the mascarpone and mix well, then let it sit in the fridge for half an hour.

Step 10After half an hour spread the cream on the paste. Wrap the salami-shaped dough tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. For the presentation, remove the paper and sprinkle with icing sugar.
