2021 has been another stellar year for PlayStation, with a slew of new trailers, announcements, and game releases for the PS5 and PS4. On top of that, the PlayStation PS Now game pass has been added regularly, and the library of games available with the subscription service is huge, including great titles.
With so much going on, there have been plenty of highlights this year for the Sony gaming brand, times where they’ve managed to outdo the competition and get fans talking like never before. These moments are why PlayStation remains one of the hot topics of internet gaming.
The return of Ratchet and Clank
2021 marked the long-awaited return of the PlayStation exclusive series, and many fans were happy to see the characters again. Best of all, the game turned out to be one of PlayStation’s best games this year, proving that the series hasn’t lost the magic that made previous titles so fun and memorable.

Gran Turismo 6 is over 8 years old now and Gran Turismo Sport does little to fill the void left by one of racing game’s most prestigious titles, so PlayStation is bringing the series back with Gran Turismo 7 was good news. Not much is known about the title, other than that it will be an open-world action RPG set in the Harry Potter universe. The website also gives a few more details about the game and the direction it will take, and is another subtle way for PlayStation to continue to generate interest in the new title.
