<!– –>Until February 15, 2021, film lovers from all over the world will have access to the films of this 11th edition of the first French-speaking cinema festival online on the site Myfrenchfilmfestival.
An online festival? For who ? Why ?
Any Internet user to access a selection of 20 works on the myFrenchFilmFestival.com platform worldwide and without restriction. The festival is also available on nearly sixty other partner platforms, depending on the territory, including the Apple TV app.
Ten feature films and ten short films are in competition, including a Belgian feature film and a short film. Internet users will be invited to rate all films and leave their comments on the site. The selection also includes out of competition a Swiss film, a Canadian feature and short film, a section for young audiences, a virtual reality section and heritage films.
5 prizes for original works
Five prizes will be awarded at the end of the festival:
- The International Jury Prize will reward a feature film in competition.
- The Lacoste Public Awards Internet users around the world can vote for their favorite films on the festival platform.
- International Press Awards
these prizes will be awarded to a feature film and a short film in competition.
The Jury is made up of journalists from major foreign media.
The International Jury and the International Press Jury will meet during the festival to vote for the winning films.

A funky teaser for a colorful edition
Julie Caty is a French animation director, the UniFrance team, which organizes the festival online, entrusted her with the production of the festival trailer. In her films, she deploys an abundant pop-punk universe, poetic, psychotropic and reflective. His latest film, Normal, was selected for the UniFrance Short Film Prize in 2020.
