Guy – best remembered for his unbeaten double century in 1997 – was attacked while trekking in Humani, Zimbabwe.
He owns a safari business – located at the confluence of the Turgwe and Save rivers in the southern part of the region. In fact, he has happened to wake up one morning to find a crocodile sleeping under his bed.
Guy’s wife posted dramatic images of the latest attack on social media, showing Guy being treated by medics with bandages on his head, before being airlifted to Milton Park Hospital in the capital Harare.
