From the investigation of the marking, no fingerprints and genetic material of marked individuals were found in the area where the burglary took place, while from the investigation of the Digital Evidence Department of the Hellenic Police, no alteration of the files of the computer located in the office was found.
According to information from ERTNews, there was not even an attempt to break the computer codes to steal or delete files.
On the door that was breached, the fingerprints of an employee were found, which has entered the microscope of the Security investigations. Also, the employees of neighboring offices of the Ministry of the Interior, testified that they did not perceive the slightest thing and did not hear any noise from the breach of the door.
From the file kept by the security guard, it did not appear that there was a visitor on that day and at the disputed hours when the manager complained that the burglary took place.
Finally, the investigation is expected to be completed on Wednesday, as the results of the analysis of the lifting of the telephone confidentiality, officials of the Ministry of the Interior to determine the motive of the complaint, are still pending.
Police sources told ERT that the Athens Security Directorate, which has the investigation at this stage, cannot blame any person for the staged break-in. The case file will be sent to the prosecutor and he will decide who to prosecute and what that prosecution will be.
