130 km/h in the city area: 21-year-old raced through Innsbruck

A speed monitoring system determined that the driver was traveling at 127 km/h on Dörrstraße with a maximum permitted speed of 50 km/h.

After turning into the 30 zone on Josef-Wilberger-Strasse, he accelerated his car to 80 km/h, police said. A short time later he was stopped by law enforcement.

Provisional driving license now gone for good

However, it wasn’t the first time that the 21-year-old had attracted negative attention in traffic. It wasn’t until December that his driver’s license was taken away due to drug impairment.

Since last week, the young man had a provisional driver’s license again, which has now been revoked.
