The need for tutoring has increased significantly in the past school year: 55,000 students attended external support hours in the 2022/23 school year, which is almost a third of all students in Upper Austria. For regarding half of them, 25,000 students, the parents had to pay for private tutoring, the other half took advantage of unpaid or school support.
