Gavi, Pedri and Frenkie de Jong are on the injury list.

Lamine Yamal, 16, stepped forward instead.

The youngster became a hero for Barcelona at home once morest Mallorca.

Ilkay Gündogan missed a penalty and Raphinha stepped out injured.

Despite this, an already injured FC Barcelona managed to put Mallorca on its back during Friday night’s La Liga match at home.

The Catalans can thank Lamine Yamal for that.

The 16-year-old beautifully placed a left-footed shot into the goal following 73 minutes and became a big hero in the 1-0 victory.

Yamal was born in 2007 and thus, despite his young age, scored the fourth league goal of the season.

The home team is drawn with major injury concerns to cogs such as Gavi, Pedri and Frenkie de Jong.

The 1-0 victory means that Barcelona are five points behind Real Madrid at the top of the table.
