According to the State Security Center (LSZ) Burgenland, two machines had collided. The drivers were taken to hospitals.
According to LSZ, “Christophorus 18” transported a motorcyclist to Wiener Neustadt. The second victim was taken to Eisenstadt by emergency ambulance. No information was yet available on how the accident happened.
According to the local fire department, which was deployed with 14 helpers, a Red Cross crisis intervention team was also deployed at the scene of the accident. Traffic on the B52 was diverted extensively by the police.
