The 12th round of F1 in 2023, the Hungarian Grand Prix final was held on the 23rd local time.

The race was blacked out, and at turn 1 there was a collision involving multiple cars at the back. Cho Guan-yu, who made a bad start, fell far down the order, and Daniel Ricciardo, who was rear-ended by Cho in turn 1, overran the Alpines. greatly lowered its rank.

Max Verstappen finished the opening lap in the lead. Oscar Piastri, Lando Norris, Lewis Hamilton, Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz, Fernando Alonso and Perez entered the second lap. Tsunoda, who started from 17th, jumped up to 11th without getting caught up in the confusion.

Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon returned to the pits, but chose to retire in quick succession. The Alpines are supposed to disappear as early as 3/70 laps.

On the 10th/70th lap, Lance Stroll, Tsunoda, and Valtteri Bottas, who chose to run on clean air rather than train conditions, entered the pits and shifted to the second hard stint. Tsunoda, who was 11th, took more than 7 seconds in the pits and was passed by Bottas and Alexander Albon in the pits.

The top teams were tense in the first stint, but Hamilton entered the pits on the 17th lap, Norris on the 18th lap, and Piastri on the 19th lap, and changed to hard. Verstappen, who was running alone at the top, changed tires on the 24th/70th lap and changed from medium to hard. Verstappen rejoined the track 5.4 seconds ahead of Norris in second.

At lap 28/70, Verstappen leads the race, with Norris 5.2 seconds behind in 2nd. Piastri followed in third, 3.5 seconds behind. From there, the gap to 4th place Hamilton widens to 11 seconds. Only three people, Verstappen and two McLarens, were lapping at an exceptional pace.

Around the 31st lap, some drivers made their second pit stop. On the 43rd lap, Piastri and Perez moved to the third stint.

Tsunoda also held on hard in the second stint, but made a second pit stop on the 46th lap. Tsunoda returned to the track in 16th, behind Logan Sargent.

At Turn 1 on lap 47, Perez overtook Piastri and joined the battle for 3rd. Verstappen, the leader, made his second pit stop on lap 52 and changed to medium tires to match Norris and Perez behind him. This is the flow that will run to the end. Verstappen set the fastest lap on lap 54 with a time of 1:20.504, more than two seconds faster than his rivals.

At the end of the race, Tsunoda was behind Nico Hulkenberg and Sargent, and Sargent spun out on lap 69, moving him up to 15th.

In the end, Verstappen widened the gap between him and Norris in 2nd place to 33.7 seconds, marking his 9th victory of the season with an overwhelming victory. Extending his personal winning streak to seven. In addition, Red Bull has won all 11 races this season, extending the winning streak as Red Bull to 12, continuing from last season’s Abu Dhabi GP, setting the record for the most consecutive wins in F1 history as a single team.

Norris came in 2nd, and Perez, who had made a comeback, was on the podium in 3rd.

Hamilton in 4th, Piastri in 5th, and Russell, who had started 18th, moved up to 6th. Leclerc in 7th, Sainz in 8th, Fernando Alonso in 9th and Lance Stroll in 10th took points.

Ricciardo had a good pace in the third stint on medium and successfully undercut a lot to finish 13th. Tsunoda, on the other hand, lost time at the first pit stop and pulled hard in the second stint, dropping his position and taking the checkered flag in 15th place.
