2023 World Cup Classification Matches: Results, Rankings, and Tomorrow’s Program

2023-09-02 15:45:00

The 2023 World Cup is on its way and as an aperitif before the huge day tomorrow, we were entitled today to the last classification matches, these determining who of Polynesia or Bostwana would finish 145 or 148th in this World Cup. Do we take stock?

Today’s results

Finland – Venezuela: 90-75 Angola – South Sudan : 78-101 New Zealand – Egypt : 86-88 Ivory Coast – France : 77-87
Japan – Cape Verde: 80-71
Philippines – China: 96-75 Jordan – Mexico : 80-93
Iran – Lebanon : 73-81

We didn’t expect anything but we were still disappointed, that could look like a title for the last three matches of the Blues in this World Cup. After the last victory against Côte d’Ivoire, the French team is now done with this disastrous competition, and this is the case for 15 other nations which have punctuated their stay in Asia in a more or less positive way. Jordan, Iran or Venezuela are hoods, the Philippines saved the honor at home, Finland offered themselves a qualfi for the TQO, and the two big news in the shape of a smile came today from Japan and South Sudan, two countries that have just qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games thanks to their victory of the day. Well done gentlemen, see you in a year, and above all… see you tomorrow for the start of very serious things!
