Several people were injured when two trams collided in Hanover.
The fire department said on request that the two light rail vehicles collided on Tuesday evening in the Bult district for reasons that were still unclear. A total of 22 people were injured in the accident – five of whom had to be taken to hospital for observation. The fire department is on site with a large contingent, as are rescue vehicles and the police. The investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
