Pforzheim. A serious accident happened on the B10 in Pforzheim’s Oststadt on Wednesday evening. According to the police, a 27-year-old woman was driving her Mazda towards the city center at around 7.45 p.m. when she crashed her vehicle into an Opel parked on the right-hand side of the road shortly after the junction with Fondelystrasse.
Following the violent collision, her vehicle overturned. It came to rest lying on its roof. “The woman was taken to hospital with injuries,” police said. As of now, her injuries are not serious. The two vehicles suffered total damage of around 30,000 euros. They had to be towed.
During the accident investigation, it was determined that the woman was under the influence of alcohol and possibly drugs. Blood samples were taken from her. According to the police, she should give up her driver’s license. Eutinger Strasse was closed until around 9:10 p.m.
