Moscow authorities said “a Ukrainian drone was shot down by the country’s air defenses,” the BBC reported.
According to the report, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that “the drone crashed on the 26th in Kireyevsk, about 400 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. Russian state media even reported that “at least three people were injured in this incident.”
Russian authorities said that the “Tu-141 Strizh” (Tu-141 Strizh) loaded with explosives was successfully jammed by the electronic warfare equipment of the Russian air defense system at around 3:20 p.m. pothole,” and several other apartments were damaged.
Ukraine, which has repeatedly dismissed allegations that it used explosive drones to attack Russian civilians, has yet to respond to the latest incident.
