POLRI recorded that as many as 4,027 homecoming travelers violated the odd-even (gage) policy during the 2024 Eid homecoming flow on the Jakarta-Cikampek-KM 414 Kalikangkung Toll Road. Ticket letters for thousands of vehicles have been sent to their respective addresses.

“Then for the implementation of odd-even, we can convey that those captured from the monitoring we carried out were 4,027 who violated odd-even and we have sent them (tickets),” said Head of the National Police Traffic Corps Inspector General Aan Suhanan at KM 70 of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road, Thursday, April 11, 2024.

Aan said that of the 4,027 violators, 1,534 of them had been sent ticket letters to their respective addresses. Meanwhile, confirmation of the ticket will only be effective after Tuesday, April 16 2024.

“Then, there are five who have confirmed online,” concluded Aan.

The implementation of the odd-even system is considered capable of reducing traffic density. Therefore, he confirmed that the gage would be used again during the return period.

“This means that for odd-even, we will also apply it again during reverse flow from KM 414 to KM 0 in Jakarta-Cikampek,” concluded Aan. (Z-7)
