Each year, the Annecy International Animation Film Festival is an opportunity to discover or rediscover cinema masterpieces. The 2023 edition will be no exception, once again. Here are 5 must-see animated films.
Wishthe new Disney
Among the films not to be missed this week, the new Disney. Wish, of his name, will be released at the end of 2023 in dark rooms. Jennifer Lee, Creative Director of Walt Disney Studios, will reveal exclusive details relating to the production of the animated film. The session will also include the annual meeting of the Disney Art Challenge. As part of the 100th anniversary of Walt Disney Animation Studios, new animations will also be offered.

Nickelodeon Animation Studio and Paramount Pictures will bring a work-in-progress version of the film Ninja Turtles: Teenage Years to Annecy this year. The screening will be in the original English version and without subtitles.

Puss in Boots 2, for an outdoor screening
Finally, we offer you a session open to all, since it is one of the outdoor screenings. This will take place on the Pâquier, Thursday, June 15. You will be able to attend the Puss in Boots: The Last Quest. A return to Annecy for this animated film which was presented in Annecy in 2022.
