Overcoming the water and sanitation crisis is one of the greatest human development challenges of the early 21st century, according to the UN. It is therefore necessary to find solutions to purify water. Most modern water filters require a lot of electricity to operate. This is why, in order to purify water while saving energy, we will present different solutions to obtain purified water using natural, effective and much less energy-consuming methods.
Use an adsorption granule

You will simply need to add the iodine in the right amount to the bottle. We advise you to mix everything well before letting it sit for at least 30 minutes. The iodine solution must be completely dissolved before drinking the water. If you were unable to use hot water for purification, wait at least 60 minutes before drinking.
Use a solar water purifier
This is a water purifier that uses UV radiation from the sun as an energy source. It can be filled with 10 liters of water to obtain water ready for human consumption after approximately 3 to 5 hours of treatment.
