The price of gold has stabilized today in Egypt, by evening trading at the same prices as the morning, according to Naguib Naguib, Secretary General of the Gold Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce previously, to Masrawy.
And gold jumped 55 pounds at the beginning of trading today, despite a slight increase in the price of crude globally, with investors awaiting the decision of the US Federal Reserve, which is expected to raise interest rates later today.
Expectations indicate that the US Central Bank will raise interest rates on the dollar to face the high inflation to the highest level in four decades, which adversely affects gold prices and demand for it.

The prices of 14 karat gold were recorded at 763 pounds per gram.
And the price of 18 karat gold was about 981 pounds per gram.
The price of 21 karat gold was about 1145 pounds per gram.
And the price of 24 karat gold reached 1309 pounds per gram.

And the price of the gold pound was recorded at 9160 pounds, and the price may vary from one dealer to another, and this price is equal to the value of gold in the pound, and its price is linked to the prices of a gram of 21 karat.
The price of gold today globally
The global price of gold rose during trading today, Wednesday, to $1870 an ounce, according to global stock prices, compared to $1864 an ounce yesterday, according to Najib.
