Dozens of migrants drowned in a shipwreck off the coast of Libya on Saturday. As the International Organization for Migration (IOM) announced on the X platform (formerly Twitter), 61 people, including women and children, were killed in the “tragic” accident. Citing survivors, it was said that a total of 86 people were on the boat. It had set sail from the town of Zwara.
