Vienna – After a serious act of violence against a 62-year-old in Vienna-Hernals, the police are investigating her 66-year-old husband on suspicion of murder. He is said to have beaten the woman to death on the loggia of an apartment on Friday morning. Witnesses heard the 62-year-old’s screams or saw the Austrian attacking his wife and then alerted the police. After attempting resuscitation, an emergency doctor was only able to determine that the woman was dead, the police reported. (APA, October 4, 2024)
