A fatal forestry accident occurred in Filzmoos on Monday. According to the police, a 66-year-old man from Pongau was carrying out forestry work alone in a steep area of forest. While removing the branches from a tree he had cut down, it started rolling. The man was captured. His son, who only found him some time later, notified the rescue workers. The emergency doctor might only determine that the 66-year-old was dead. The casualty was rescued by the local fire department.
