Among the most prominent artists who achieved wide stardom, despite not completing their education:
Sherine Abdel Wahab
The artist, Sherine Abdel Wahab, revealed during the promo of the “With You” program, presented by the media, Mona El-Shazly, on CBC, about her desire to complete her education, through a telephone intervention.
Years ago, during her appearance on the “Apple” program with the artist Nicole Saba on the “Al-Hayat” channel; Sherine confirmed that she regrets not having obtained any educational certificate, whether university, secondary or even preparatory, as well as her regret for not knowing the English language.
Sherine said at the time: “I was in education until the first grade of middle school when the 1992 earthquake struck, I was afraid to go to school, and I ran away after my mother drove me to the school door, especially since the study method was not good and the teachers hit us on our hands with a ruler, and as a result I did not complete my education and I regret it, especially because I spoil myself when my daughters speak English at home or when they ask me about something in English and I don’t know what to say.”
Mohamed Ramadan
In September 2016, the artist, Mohamed Ramadan, revealed during his participation in the “Here is the Capital” program, that he is still in the first grade at the Institute of Dramatic Arts after failing for five consecutive years, explaining that the reason for his failure is his constant preoccupation with the artwork he performs, justifying this by losing time and distracting him from studying.
Amr diab
The great artist, Amr Diab, studied for a while at the Institute of Arab Music, but he did not complete his education at the institute, and thus high school becomes his academic qualification, as he did not seek after that to study in any field.
Ola Ghanem
The artist, Ola Ghanem, said in one of the programs, that she did not obtain any university degree, and was satisfied with obtaining only the high school, noting that she went to study at the College of Applied Arts, but did not complete her studies.
Yusra
Yousra did not try to study in any of the colleges, after her success in high school, and went directly to acting, and the great artist achieved great success in the field of art, as she is one of the most important stars of the first grade in Egypt and the Arab world.
Farid al-Atrash
The great artist Farid al-Atrash did not complete his education, due to the difficult financial conditions experienced by his family, displaced from Jabal al-Druze to Egypt, and “Farid” left studying at the “Kharnafash” school, and went to work in one of the Al-Mosky shops, before heading to the world of art, by joining the theater of the artist Badia. I’m hurt.
Laila Fawzy
The late artist Laila Fawzy stated, in one of the interviews, that she did not complete her education, and this is the thing that she regrets after that.
Umm Kulthum
Kawkab al-Sharq Umm Kulthum achieved unparalleled stardom, although she did not complete her education in the first place, and only went to books, and she barely knew how to read and write.
