The Sensationnelles Prize Jury has decided and selected the 9 finalist clubs for the Sensationnelles call for projects, initiated by Intermarché in collaboration with the French Football Federation, to promote women’s amateur football.

The operation is aimed at the 1,716 clubs carrying out significant actions in favor of the U14-U18 categories with the dual ambition of creating enthusiasm for women’s football throughout the territory and helping young girls to flourish and to emancipate themselves through football. The call for projects is part of the All Foot federal system, intended to support the development of female practice and to strengthen the place of women in football.

Laure Boulleau, godmother of the Sensationnelles trophy : “200 applications, 25 shortlisted clubs and 9 finalists, real favorites and tight and passionate deliberations within the jury, this is the first assessment of our second edition. The files presented are once again of high quality and bear witness to the growing commitment throughout France to the development of the discipline. We see mixed football but also women’s sections being born, we see that it continues to move. »

Appointment is therefore made on June 21 at the French Football Federation from 5:00 p.m., to discover the projects of the finalist clubs and the award ceremony, in the presence of the program partners and the media. The finalist clubs will receive an endowment of equipment and their actions will be relayed on the Intermarché networks “As close to sport” to reward their commitment and their participation in the program.

The ceremony will reveal the winning club which will receive financial support of 10,000 euros per year for three years to help carry out its development project for women’s football. A sports stay at the National Football Center (Clairefontaine) will also be offered to a selection of their young players (U14 to U18) and their coaches.
