nine people with extradition order were captured in the last few hours in Barranquilla when they were identified as alleged members of an organization dedicated to drug trafficking y money laundering commanded, according to the authorities, by Abdul Har |known as ‘The Lord of the Rings’.
The above was communicated on the morning of this Wednesday by the Anti-Narcotics Directorate of the National Police.
According to information provided, it was an investigation that lasted approximately two years in coordination with the DEA and the UIAF (Unit of Information and Analysis of Financial Information) of the USA. In turn, it was learned that in total there were 14 detainees, six in other parts of Colombia and the world, required by a court in Massachusetts.
“This Wednesday the Police secured the strategic mobility points of the members of the organization led by ‘The Lord of the rings’, well known for his passion for gold jewelry and precious stones. This raid occurred simultaneously in six Colombian cities, in which the investigations allowed a large amount of cocaine hydrochloride to be seized in their ports. The foregoing led the authorities to the owners of these substances and their responsibilities within the structure”, indicated the armed institution.
