Ahmed Hegazy, Al-Ittihad player, is close to returning to participate with his team, in the El Clasico match against Al-Hilal in the Saudi League.
Al-Ittihad will host its rivals, Al-Hilal, this evening, Monday, in the El Clasico match in the 27th round of the Saudi Professional League.
Al-Ittihad is seeking to win its match against Al-Hilal, becoming one step away from resolving the title, which has been absent from its coffers since the 2008-2009 edition.
Al-Ittihad currently leads the Saudi League standings with 61 points, 6 points ahead of Al-Hilal, the runner-up.

According to what was confirmed by the Saudi newspaper, “Okaz”, Hegazy, 31, got the green light to participate in the El Clasico match against Al Hilal, after recovering from the injury that kept him away for nearly 5 months.
In the event that the Egyptian defender participates with Al-Ittihad against Al-Hilal, he will have returned to play in the “Tigers” shirt after an absence of 143 days.
Hegazy’s last match with Al-Ittihad this season was on December 31, when his team defeated Al-Batin (3-2) in the 15th round of the Saudi League.
After that, Hegazy was called to participate with the Egyptian national team in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, which was held early this year in Cameroon, and witnessed a rupture of the connective muscle.
It is worth noting that Hegazy missed 14 matches during that period, 12 matches in the league and two matches in the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup.
The Egyptian star participated in 14 matches with Al-Ittihad this season, during which he scored 3 goals.
